Hibiscus South Coast

Wild Coast Golf Club
For a round that will really put your skills to the test, you’ve got to play Wild Coast, rated as one of the best in South Africa. Sculpted out of wild undulating terrain, with 59 large bunkers guarding manicured fairways and greens, the hole layouts and bordering scenery are fantastic.  Take a ‘walk on the wild side’.

Southbroom
Its tough and tight layout through lush coastal bush offers spectacular sea and surf views.  Recent renovations of water features on many holes and new greens have increased the challenge factor with wondrous results.  The short par-3 4th hole is the most talked about hole on the course – blending into the Indian Ocean coastline.  On rare occasions, you can see dolphins play or whales basking in the warm waters.

Margate Country Club
This recently totally renovated course features superb greens, particularly the par-five 9th and 18th, both sharing a vast contoured green in the St Andrews tradition. Although less than a mile from the sea, it is on relatively high ground, abounding with tall trees.

Selborne Park Country Club
One of the most outstanding golf courses in South Africa, listed in the country’s top 12. Huge indigenous trees flank the fairways and water comes into play on most of the holes. It achieves a good balance between a fun round for the average player and a challenge for the low handicapper.

San Lameer Country Club
The Tom Weiskopf-designed course is set in the pristine Zimbali Coastal Forest Reserve in KwaZulu Natal province and it’s a golfers dream.  A park-like setting with many water features makes it one of the most picturesque courses in all southern Africa and destined to become one of the top ten.  Bird life abounds – more than 300 species have been noted – grasslands and wooded areas provide a perfect habitat for animal life and wild flowers.

Zimbali Country Club
A new Weiskopf design fast gaining a reputation for excellence.  Set amid lush, tropical vegetation, the course winds through the Zimbali estate with dramatic elevation changes and spectacular ocean vistas.  A lovely transition from a links-style to subtropical happens when you make the turn.

Cape Town

Royal Cape
With lovely views of one of the world's most famous landmarks – Table Mountain – this championship course offers a beautiful setting. Royal Cape Golf Club is a true championship course, having hosted the South African Open no less than eleven times and the SA Amateur Championships eight times. A fine test of golf – especially when the south-easter is blowing.

Rondebosch Golf Club
With Table Mountain forming a dramatic setting, the course has welcomed all visitors to the fairest Cape.  Now, as South Africa's latest PGA venue, it promises a memorable golfing experience in truly one of the most beautiful cities in the world.

Sun City

Gary Player Country Club
Home of the Million Dollar Challenge and the #1-rated course in South Africa.  This Gary Player designed course provides a stern test amid beautiful surroundings.  A distinguishing feature of the course is its green's complexes, with strategically placed bunkers, swales and mounds that protect the super slick clover shaped greens. With pristine perfect kikuyu fairways and excellent bent grass greens the course is kept in perfect condition all year round.

Lost City Country Club
Breathtaking beauty and the presence of African myth is everywhere apparent, particularly in the incredible Zimbabwe-ruins-style clubhouse.

The desert style design by Gary Player has an exotic allure all of its own. The par-three 13th with its green shaped like the African continent, surrounded by pot bunkers and an enclosure to front left that is home to over forty crocodiles.  If you're looking for golf's "Out of Africa" experience, this is it.
