The Itinerary
Sunday, Day 1 Arrival to Bordeaux from Paris. Collect your rental car and drive to
Vigiers. Check in to the 4-star Chateau
des Vigiers for three nights. The
balance of the day is at leisure, and evening dinner at your choice of chateau
restaurants. Monday, Day 2 Enjoy breakfast at the chateau. Golfers play Vigiers. Non-golfers can enjoy the hotel’s leisure
facilities. The afternoon is free,
and evening dinner at your choice of chateau restaurants or nearby country
inns. Tuesday, Day 3 Enjoy breakfast at the chateau. Golfers drive to play Medoc Les
Chateaux – a regular stop on the European PGA Tour. Non-golfers can
sightsee to nearby historical towns, tour the chateau vineyard. The afternoon and evening are free. Wednesday, Day 4 Enjoy breakfast at the chateau. No golf today. Sightsee in the area, as you are in the middle of great wine
country. Drive down the coast to
Biarritz, sightseeing along the way.
Check in to one of the truly great hotels in Europe, the 4-star deluxe
Hotel du Palais, for four nights. Thursday, Day 5 Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Golfers drive to play Seignosse. Non-golfers can enjoy the hotel’s leisure
facilities, or the beach. The evening
is free to enjoy dinner in a hotel restaurant, which has a panoramic view of
the Atlantic, or in town. Friday, Day 6 Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Golfers drive to play Chiberta. A non-golfer can explore Napoleon’s summer
retreat of Biarritz – which is still imperial in every way. The evening is free to enjoy dinner in a
hotel restaurant, or in town. Saturday, Day 7 Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. No golf today. Explore the town, relax on the beach, or venture out to explore
the road to Spain. The evening is
free to enjoy dinner. Sunday, Day 8 Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Drive to the Biarritz airport, return rental
car and depart for Paris and your connecting flight home.
