The Itinerary

Sunday, Day 1

Arrive Glasgow. Collect rental car and drive south to Turnberry.  Check in for one night to the deluxe Turnberry Hotel.  Play Turnberry Ailsa in the afternoon.

Monday, Day 2

Drive to play Prestwick Old or Western Gailes.  Check in for one night to a quality Bed & Breakfast Guest House in Troon.

Tuesday, Day 3

Play Royal Troon Old * and Portland.  After golf, drive to the Highlands and Tain.   Check in to a quality Bed & Breakfast Guest House for two nights.

Wednesday, Day 4

Play Royal Dornoch Championship.

Thursday, Day 5

Play Nairn Championship.  Drive east to Aberdeen.  Check in for two nights to a quality Bed & Breakfast Guest House or small Hotel.

Friday, Day 6

Play Cruden Bay.

Saturday, Day 7

Play Royal Aberdeen.  Drive south to Carnoustie.  Check in for one night to a quality Bed & Breakfast Guest House.

Sunday, Day 8

Play Carnoustie Championship.  Drive south to St. Andrews.  Check in for three nights to a quality Bed & Breakfast Guest House.

Monday, Day 9

Play Kingsbarns Links.

Tuesday, Day 10

Play St. Andrews New or Jubilee.

Wednesday, Day 11

Play where it all began — the Old Course at St. Andrews.  Drive south to Edinburgh.  Check in for two nights to a quality Bed & Breakfast Guest House.

Thursday, Day 12

Play North Berwick Championship.

Friday, Day 13

Play Gullane No. 1.

Saturday, Day 14

Return rental car to Edinburgh Airport or Glasgow Airport, and depart.

Old Course at St. Andrews

Play on the Old Course is offered in this package with advance guaranteed tee times, subject to availability.
If tee times are unavailable because allocations are sold out, then we will gladly enter your names into the daily Lottery Ballot, and deduct the advance guaranteed tee times cost from the package price.
If the Ballot is successful, greens fees are paid directly to the Starter, and prepaid greens fees for other prearranged golf are forfeited.  There is no guarantee of success.
Play on the Old Course requires proof of handicaps not exceeding 24 for men and 36 for women.

  • Accommodations are sharing double or twin occupancy, single occupancy may be higher; subject to availability.
  • Suggested golf itinerary is subject to availability, assumes arrival on Sunday, and is based upon known visitor play policies.
  • Rental car is subject to availability.
  • Added nights, additional golf, hotel and rental car substitutions are available options — please ask.
  • Air transportation and non-golfer itineraries are not included; arranged at client request.
