Up in the northwest area of Ireland is a place not on
many golfers' maps. A pity, for there is wonderful golf opportunities to be
found there. Requires daily driving, but if you are after golf the way it has
been played for centuries, this is the itinerary for you.

The Itinerary
Sunday, Day 1
Arrive Shannon. Collect rental car and drive to Lahinch.
Check in for one night to a quality Bed & Breakfast Guest House. Relax
and sightsee, including the fabulous Cliffs of Moher.
Monday, Day 2
Play Lahinch Old. Drive north to Galway,
and check in to a quality Bed & Breakfast Guest House for one night.
Tuesday, Day 3
Play Galway Bay. Continue on to Connemara,
and check in for one night to a quality Bed & Breakfast Guest House.
Wednesday, Day 4
Play Connemara. Drive on north to Ballina,
and check in for one night to a quality Bed & Breakfast Guest House.
Thursday, Day 5
Today play Enniscrone. Continue east to
Sligo, and check in for one night to a quality Bed & Breakfast Guest
House.
Friday, Day 6
Play Rosses Point. After golf, return south
to Lahinch, and check in for one night to a quality Bed & Breakfast Guest
House.
Saturday, Day 7
Play Greg Norman's new links, Doonbeg.
After golf, drive to Shannon Airport and check in for one night to the Great
Southern Hotel. Return rental car.
Sunday, Day 8
Depart for home.

accommodation in a quality 3- or 4-star Bed & Breakfast Guest
Houses, double or twin occupancy - in-room toilet and shower - Irish
breakfast daily.
