The Itinerary

Day 1, Sunday or Wednesday

Arrive Glasgow. Collect rental car and drive to Turnberry. Check in for three nights to the deluxe Turnberry Hotel.

Day 2, Monday or Thursday

Play Turnberry Ailsa, or play Royal Troon Old * and Portland.

Day 3, Tuesday, or Friday

Play Royal Troon Old * and Portland, or play Prestwick Old or Western Gailes.

Day 4, Wednesday or Saturday

Play Prestwick Old or Western Gailes, or play Turnberry Ailsa. Drive to Gleneagles and check in to the deluxe Gleneagles Hotel for three nights.

Day 5, Thursday or Sunday

Play Gleneagles Kings.

Day 6, Friday or Monday

Play Gleneagles Centenary.

Day 7, Saturday or Tuesday

Drive to Carnoustie to play Carnoustie Championship.  After golf, continue on to St. Andrews and check in for four nights to the deluxe Old Course Hotel.

Day 8, Sunday or Wednesday

Play Kingsbarns Links.

Day 9, Monday or Thursday

Play St. Andrews New or Jubilee.

Day 10, Tuesday or Friday

Play where it all began — the Old Course at St. Andrews.

Drive to Edinburgh Airport or Glasgow Airport, return rental car and depart.

Relax in the recreational facilities at the Turnberry Hotel, or drive to explore the Culzean Castle and Grounds near Ayr.  Near Gleneagles is the oldest working distillery in Scotland – Glenturret – and Stirling Castle.  Near to Carnoustie is Glamis Castle and Folk Museum.

Old Course at St. Andrews

Play on the Old Course is offered in this package with advance guaranteed tee times, subject to availability.
If tee times are unavailable because allocations are sold out, then we will gladly enter your names into the daily Lottery Ballot, and deduct the advance guaranteed tee times cost from the package price.
If the Ballot is successful, greens fees are paid directly to the Starter, and prepaid greens fees for other prearranged golf are forfeited.  There is no guarantee of success.
Play on the Old Course requires proof of handicaps not exceeding 24 for men and 36 for women.
